Nymi has named Grantek Systems Integration a Technology Partner. Grantek, a leading North American based systems integrator and consulting firm with 17 offices across the world, and Nymi, based in Toronto, Ontario, will partner to deliver secure, two-factor, wearable biometric authentication to regulated manufacturing environments that are compliance driven and require confidence in the integrity of their data.
Pharmaceutical and manufacturing industries that deploy the Nymi authentication solution provide employees with a quick and easy way to achieve compliance and security standards while increasing productivity. Nymi Enterprise Edition is an industry-leading solution that makes audits simpler and less intrusive by ensuring uncompromised data integrity, traceability, and non-repudiation of a company’s electronic records. (non-repudiation is an authentication that can be said to be genuine with high confidence)
Nymi’s Enterprise Edition is a full enterprise solution that works to provide authentication while improving productivity and compliance. The Nymi Band, in conjunction with the Nymi Enterprise Software integrates with an organization’s existing applications e.g. single-sign on (SSO), a Manufacturing Execution System (MES). A Nymi Band remains authenticated until the user removes the band and immediately de-authenticates so it cannot be transferred to anyone else.
Grantek was founded in 1980 and has evolved into a partner relied on by clients in Pharmaceutical and Food & Beverage manufacturing to help meet the stringent requirements and challenges of the 4th Industrial Revolution. Combined with Nymi’s Always On Authentication, the partnership delivers an innovative solution that benefits Grantek clients needing consistently reliable data integrity that is fully integrated with all other business and production systems to improve manufacturing productivity.
“Grantek is excited about this new partnership with Nymi,” said Ian Tooke, Chief Strategy Officer at Grantek. “The Nymi Enterprise Edition is a top-of-class solution to provide secure Always On Authentication in the highly regulated Pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. We are looking forward to offering this to our clients as a part of the fully integrated results we deliver.”
“The challenge every company faces of ensuring compliance in a secure, frictionless way is exacerbated in highly regulated manufacturing processes. The enterprise-class, secure industrial wearable Nymi, combined with Grantek’s process understanding, provides a formidable solution to address a very real pain point in every Pharma and highly regulated manufacturing process,” added Andrew Foxcroft, VP of Sales at Nymi.

Makes sense. A wearable that handles two factor authentication without getting in the way sounds like a win for pharma manufacturing. I have dealt with similar challenges on the software side where enterprise AI observability helps you keep complex systems secure and audit ready without slowing everything down. Same idea different layer.
Great announcement! The partnership between Nymi and Grantek makes perfect sense for highly regulated industries like pharmaceuticals and food & beverage manufacturing. Combining Nymi’s wearable biometric authentication with Grantek’s deep expertise in automation and systems integration is a smart move.
The “Always On Authentication” that de-authenticates when the band is removed sounds like an excellent solution for maintaining data integrity, compliance, and productivity without adding friction for workers.
This kind of secure, frictionless authentication will be increasingly important as more manufacturers move toward Industry 4.0.
When I copy technical announcements, partnership details, or industry articles like this, I often run into hidden formatting and invisible characters. A handy tool I use to clean them up quickly is caracter vacio unicode.
The announcement of Nymi’s partnership with Grantek highlights innovation, precision, and reliability—qualities that also define well-chosen decorative fonts in digital communication. Just as secure authentication ensures data integrity and seamless integration in regulated industries, thoughtfully selected typography enhances brand identity and visual clarity. The right font style strengthens messaging impact, making technology updates and corporate milestones appear more professional, structured, and visually engaging.
Well, between sips of my morning coffee, I'm wondering if this Nymi Band thingy will finally make those pesky manufacturing audits less of a headache. A clean and minimalist draw game concept in real life, perhaps?
